I recently celebrated my Birthday in Cape Verde it was truly the best Birthday ever. 

My boyfriend surprised me with this trip - amazing right?! I relaxed, sunbathed, sipped cocktails and champagne and to make my Birthday even more special he arranged for me to have a facial, chocolate body wrap and massage on the day. My idea of perfection! 

This is one of my fave evening looks from my time spent in Cape Verde, the skort is definitely a trend I am loving. Looking at these pics also makes me remember how much I loved my hair braided like this. 

My posts unfortunately have been pretty much non-existent throughout this year and it is just down to lack of inspiration and to be completely honest laziness which I am ashamed to admit as blogging is where my hear lies I love it. Although I am sure many other bloggers know where I am coming from when you work full time and go the gym etc you need to feel motivated to get in and start blogging. 

I officially have my blogging mojo back life is too short to not do what you enjoy so I vow to make time for Fashionistaface.

With the nights drawing in earlier and the weather getting chillier I'm embracing the fact that I can still wear clothes that are not quite so cosy because soon I am sure I'm going to be living in cosy jumpers and boots.

It has been a while since I have blogged as I have been away sunning myself in beautiful Greece! But I did remember to get a few snaps for the blog rocking white from head to toe. They do say that white is the colour to wear to show off a tan but this wasn't my reason as my fair skin doesn't tend to tan very much. All summer I just adored wearing white, neutral and pastel colours so I continued to embrace this whilst on holiday. I am now back to the cold and rainy UK and wearing white will be few and far between. Looking at these pictures I hold fond memories of a perfect holiday and this is what I will remember when I wear these items again.

My love affair with beautiful coats continues, the boyfriend coat was the must have wardrobe staple of 2013 the colour preferably pink and it seems this is also the way forward in 2014. The coat is the item I find myself lusting after more than anything else at the moment. A fabulous coat can turn a good ensemble into a great one. Above a are a few on my current lust list.

Little Blue Dress

I'm afraid my posting has been few and far between lately, I've been super busy preparing for college, but i haven't been completely neglecting my blog me and my budding photographer friend went down to a pretty countryside location and took lots of photos which i have been very excited to post! It was a lovely day i really enjoyed it so i hope you all like them.
